To ensure each and every player gets to play at their level to enhance their opportunity to develop, even if that means sending them to another program. We strive to think differently and consistently improve our program ensuring we play our part in the player development pathway set out by US Soccer.

Our philosophy is a simple one, to be the missing link in the player development pathway.

Coupled with passion and an irrepressible desire, our stated aim is to maintain focus on homegrown, Pittsburgh talent. We’ll work to help you achieve greater opportunities to showcase your talent in front of college coaches, seek international playing opportunities, and in that -- allow international players to get in front of the Pittsburgh and American soccer market.

Our coaches will challenge you. There is no debate between winning and development – we will aim to achieve both.

We will give our players the opportunity to earn both individual and team accolades, conference and league honors, whilst aiming to represent Pittsburgh in National playoffs.

Player expectations…

We are building a program that the community is already getting behind and are proud of. We expect our adult players to fully support this. Our teams will keep in mind, the game is meant to entertain. We’ll provide our fans the greatest opportunities to be entertained while they see a possession-based style of play.

Season Overview...

Training Schedule

The season for the NPSL runs from mid May - July.

Traditionally the NPSL season is 10 games with 1-2 friendlies.

Weekly schedule -

3x training sessions (1.5 - 2 hours)
1 or 2 games

Training will be held at No Offseason Sports (Russellton) & Founders Field, Cheswick, PA in May, June, July. Training times will be in the evenings.

All games will be recorded using Veo. Players will be provided a login to the platform for in-depth personal game footage, stats, and vanity for each player.

Games

Home games will tentatively be held at Founders Field, Cheswick, PA.

Away games -- transportation and accommodations (as necessary) will be provided.

Player Responsibilities...

For the 2023 season, players are required to pay a $250/player fee. This fee can be covered by a ‘player sponsor.’ Fees include the full kit that players keep at the end of the season.

Warmup Quarter-zip

Players must also have individual health insurance, American-visa

Community/Academy appearances: Our first teams serve as a focus for our younger players to strive for -- providing them greater incentive to train harder, run faster, and dig deeper; recognizing the opportunity and platform to showcase their talent.

To that, we’ll host academy events (awards night, camps, etc.) and community initiatives that first-team players are expected to partake in. We believe strongly in the Pittsburgh community and value their support of our program — and in turn, we want to give back to them every chance possible.
