I played for many local teams (in Southend-on-Sea -- south of London) and my school but the most fun I had was playing was with my friends before and after school. To me, that was where you really learn how to play and you can try lots of different tricks. The love continued and got bigger when I became a season ticket holder at West Ham. For many years I got to watch the best players in the Premier League each week. Inspiration to coach: After playing and not being able to make it to the top-level, I wanted to stay within the game and decided to start coaching. Favorite part of coaching soccer: My favourite part of coaching is seeing the development of my players and seeing them go on to achieve great things. Favorite player/team: West Ham United is the team I support! We are like the Pittsburgh Pirates – had success years ago but nothing since 1980! My favourite player for my club is Mark Noble but my favourite player of all time is Ronaldinho – the original skill master. When not coaching soccer: I like watching all different sports, especially the American ones, and have adopted a team for each. I also enjoy travelling and exploring different places, as well as shopping and going to the movies.
