Start in soccer:

Being from England soccer has been a part of my life from an early age. Playing in the backyard and at the park with family and friends, attending Premier League games and watching them on TV were all a ritual growing up. I began playing for my local youth team at the age of 6.

Inspiration to coach:

I have always had an interest in soccer and child education, therefore marrying the two together is what led me down the coaching pathway. I believe developing the soccer player on and off the field are equally as important.

Favorite part of coaching soccer:

I find the most rewarding aspect of coaching is  observing the development of the players and the team as a whole -- both short term and long term.

Short term, from seeing something in the game that we worked on during the previous practice. Long term, where the team and individual players have progressed in all aspects of soccer.

Favorite player/team:

I am a fan of Leeds United. My favorite players growing up were Harry Kewell, Ian Harte, Lucas Radebe, all used to play for Leeds United.

When not coaching soccer:

I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter and going for hikes with the family dog.
