In the 2019 inaugural season, Norris trained with the First Team at 16 years old.

Putting on the Hotspurs kit for the 3rd time, we’re pleased to welcome Gabe Norris to the Men’s First Team competing in the NPSL for the 2021 season. 

Norris, a Robert Morris University (D1) commit for the upcoming season, was the 2nd youngest starter during our Members Cup series games last summer. 

“Gabe joined the First Team at the age of 16 and showed immediately that he could contribute.” said head coach, Tom Campbell.

Last summer, he started both our competitive games and displayed bravery and maturity in his performances. I’m really really looking forward to having him back with us again!”

From Natrona Heights, the Pittsburgh-area native has played with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Development Academy.

“My development is very important to me and I believe putting myself in the best environment I have available is the best way to continue to develop,” shared Norris.

Playing with the first team, with guys like Nicky [Kolarac], forces me to raise my level. It also surrounds me with some of the best teachers of the game in the area. I try to soak up as much information as I can each time I’m with the First Team.

Plus, I love the fact I am representing a club so close to home.”
